Workforce development

Businesses and potential investors consistently indicate that while unemployment levels are high and general levels of education are adequate, they cannot find sufficient candidates with the skills and credential that their particular type of business requires.

The Competitiveness Project will help businesses and educational service providers come together in developing certification and other programmatic solutions to this gap.

Over time, systemic change requires that employers and educational service providers should regularly be dialoguing, collaborating in curriculum development, providing more experiential learning opportunities, and better guiding individuals in their career and professional development.
