Access to finance

Most Macedonian companies run into a financing problem, and issues including cost, terms, and limited product range. The Competitiveness Project will support viable projects/ partners in securing finance from both domestic and international sources in order to expand operations, invest in new technologies and develop new products and services.

Successes for individual projects will be used to stimulate further awareness and interest in the financial sector, and eventually competition, for improved financial services.  Expected results will include increased amount of financing obtained, deal flow generated for the USAID Development Credit Authority (DCA) facilities, various venture funds and institutions offering improved services.
